Solano County Fair

The 2026 Solano County Fair returns to the fairgrounds with a patriotic theme honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States and California's 175th state anniversary. The event traditionally begins with Family AG Day, which offers discounted admission and focuses on local agriculture through farmer meet-and-greets and the "Pee Wee Stampede" rodeo for children. A significant fair tradition is "Super Friends Day," which provides a private morning session for the special needs community before the gates open to the general public.

New for 2026 is the "Game of Lore," a 14,000-square-foot interactive maze featuring choice-based adventures and large inflatable set pieces. Mainstage entertainment includes a diverse musical lineup with acts like Tierra Legacy and Raquel Ramirez, alongside specialty performances such as comedy hypnotism. High-energy activities include a Saturday night destruction derby and the long-standing "Cook’s Racing Pigs" competition.

Visitors can browse various competitive exhibits ranging from livestock judging to local arts, photography, and intricate quilts. Culinary enthusiasts can participate in or observe contests for homemade fudge and chili, or sample traditional treats like chocolate-covered frozen cheesecake and funnel cakes. To enhance the attendee experience, fair organizers have updated the grounds with improved signage and full-color maps for easier navigation.
