Oakmont Yacht Club Regatta

The Oakmont Yacht Club Regatta is a long-standing annual tradition held at the club's grounds on Washington Avenue. The event officially begins at noon with a formal flag-raising ceremony and continues throughout the evening until 11 p.m. While organized by the club, the regatta is open to the general public and serves as a major community gathering in the Alle-Kiski Valley.

Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy a variety of entertainment including a DJ and performances by three live bands. On-site activities feature a classic boat display, a silent auction, and family-oriented options such as face painting and games. A selection of food and beverages is also available for visitors.

The festivities reach their peak in the evening with a fireworks display over the river, typically scheduled for 9:30 p.m. The event successfully combines nautical traditions with a classic festival atmosphere, providing entertainment for both local residents and boating enthusiasts.
