Rock the Block

Rock the Block is a vibrant community music and arts festival hosted in Spokane's West Central neighborhood. Originated from a partnership between local venues the Chameleon, Placeholder Studios, and Hamilton Studio Listening Room, the event has grown from a modest block party concept into a full-fledged community celebration.

The festival, which will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, is free of charge, thanks to partnerships with local businesses and organizations such as Spokane Public Radio, Art Salvage, Dry Fly Distilling, and Seven Generations Innovation. Attendees can experience a wide array of creative Spokane talent across two live stages featuring local musicians like Mister Sister, We R Decoys, Helmer Noel, and Raj Saint Paul. The event also includes various art exhibits and opportunities to engage with local vendors.

Created with the goal of supporting and growing the local arts scene, Rock the Block provides both established creatives and newcomers a gathering place to connect and discover. Organizers intend for the event to return annually, with future aspirations to potentially expand into multiple summer occurrences or evolve into a larger, multi-day festival.
