Lumberjack Days

Lumberjack Days is recognized as one of Minnesota’s longest-running summer festivals, held annually in the historic downtown district of Stillwater. A major highlight for the 2026 season is the return of professional lumberjack shows after a multi-year hiatus. These exhibitions feature world-champion athletes participating in traditional skills such as logrolling, axe throwing, boom running, and chainsaw competitions.

The festival offers a broad range of entertainment including live music from various genres, featuring headliners like Daybreak and the Stevie Monce Band. Public activities span several days and include a downhill derby, a grand parade, and a medallion hunt. Families can visit a dedicated children’s game world and market, while other attractions include an ice cream social, bingo, and a spirits tasting event. New additions for this year include a community mile race and a local business garage sale located in Lowell Park.
