Astronomy and Space Entrepreneurship Festival

Hosted at Karabük's Keltepe Ski Center, this festival serves as a hub for astronomy enthusiasts, families, and aspiring entrepreneurs. Organized by the Astronomy Network in collaboration with the Karabük Municipality and various youth and entrepreneurship councils, the event aims to bridge the gap between scientific study and practical business application in the space sector.

The festival schedule includes diverse activities ranging from hands-on children's workshops to professional-level stargazing. Attendees can participate in sessions covering topics such as Turkish mythology in astronomy, the daily work of astronomers, and the techniques of astrophotography. Nighttime programs are a major draw, offering opportunities to observe meteors and celestial bodies in the high-altitude conditions of the ski center.

Beyond its scientific focus, the event encourages a sense of community, attracting visitors from neighboring provinces and interest groups such as camping and off-road enthusiasts. By blending a traditional sky observation camp with entrepreneurship concepts, the festival seeks to inspire the next generation of scientists and innovators through both theory and practical observation.
