First Philippine International Truck Show

Organized by the Truck Manufacturers Association Inc. (TMA) and the Automotive Body Manufacturers Association of the Philippines Inc. (Abmap), the First Philippine International Truck Show carries the theme “Driving Progress Together.” The event brings together a wide array of participants, including commercial vehicle distributors, fleet operators, logistics companies, transport groups, government agencies, and suppliers involved in moving goods and people across the Philippines.

More than a typical vehicle exhibition, PITS serves as a crucial platform for the commercial vehicle sector. It allows different parts of the truck industry to converge under one roof, highlighting the complete commercial vehicle ecosystem from chassis manufacturers to local body builders. This setup provides an opportunity for fleet operators and business owners to compare various platforms, configurations, and applications in a single venue.

The show also addresses the rapid advancements in truck technology. It will feature discussions and exhibits on improving safety, efficiency, and fleet productivity, including cleaner and more efficient powertrains, electronic driver aids, telematics, fleet-management systems, and emerging alternative-energy vehicles. Philippine body builders, known for producing cargo bodies, passenger buses, and specialized commercial vehicles, will also be featured, showcasing their role in tailoring vehicles for local operating conditions and business needs.
