PlayTales: Reimagining Tomorrows

Developed through a partnership between The Mind Museum and NutriAsia, PlayTales: Reimagining Tomorrows is an immersive exhibition that offers a uniquely Filipino learning experience. The installation launched its national tour at the Bonifacio Global City venue, focusing on the importance of tactile and experiential learning for children. The exhibit aims to foster science education and innovation by allowing young visitors to imagine various possible futures through play.

The exhibition space consists of several themed interactive zones built primarily from sustainable materials like bamboo. In the Community Garden and Kitchen, children can harvest and cook toy vegetables while learning recipes for traditional dishes like sinigang. The Eco-Essentials zone features a futuristic sari-sari store constructed from recycled materials, where kids can role-play buying and selling local pantry items.

Additional features include a Music Tower that showcases indigenous instruments from across the Philippines and a Fishing Area designed to teach children about the connection between people and aquatic ecosystems. The exhibition is structured to accommodate 90-minute sessions, providing a dedicated environment for families to explore Filipino heritage and science in a hands-on setting.
