Melaka KPDN Mini Carnival

The Melaka KPDN Mini Carnival is a three-day public fair hosted by Malaysia's Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC). Scheduled from Friday, August 14, to Sunday, August 16, 2026, the event aims to bring the ministry's initiatives, services, and programs closer to the community through a relaxed, interactive, and people-friendly approach, with an expected attendance of over 10,000 visitors.

Key attractions at the carnival include the MADANI Rahmah Sales Programme (PJRM), which offers a variety of daily necessities at reduced prices, helping to alleviate household expenses. Attendees can also explore numerous exhibition booths, access advisory services, and participate in business matching sessions. For entertainment, the carnival features an e-sports tournament organized in collaboration with Todak, a Menu Rahmah sale provided by food truck vendors, a children's colouring competition, live performances by artistes, and an exhibition showcasing antique cars and classic motorcycles.

Throughout the event, a range of stage activities and family-friendly entertainment will be offered, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all ages. The KPDN Mini Carnival also serves as a platform to educate the public on the ministry's essential roles and functions, particularly in consumer protection, price monitoring, law enforcement, and ongoing efforts to address the cost of living.
