The International Cat Show, organized by the Monaco association De Gati de Munegu under the High Patronage of the Princess of Hanover, will be held at the Chapiteau de l’Espace Fontvieille. This ninth edition will bring together around 90 breeders from across Europe, showcasing nearly 200 pedigree cats from 27 different breeds, including Bengals, Siamese, Maine Coons, Persians, Ragdolls, Birmans, Turkish Angoras, and Scottish Folds.
Competitions will take place under both LOOF and TICA formats, judged by ten international experts from countries such as Italy, Korea, Serbia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, and the United States. Prizes will be awarded throughout the weekend, culminating in the selection of an overall best cat of the show.
While no cats or kittens will be available for sale, visitors can meet breeders to discuss potential future adoptions. The event also features the Nice-based animal welfare association Un brin de chance, which will raise awareness for responsible adoption and present animals currently looking for homes. The show is open from 10am to 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Admission costs €10 for visitors over 13, €5 for children aged six to 13, and is free for children under six.
