Schueberfouer

The Schueberfouer, a significant cultural event in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, offers a diverse experience for all ages. New attractions for this edition include the virtual reality rollercoaster 'Dr Archibald – Master of Time,' 'King Loop,' and 'Skater.' Traditionalists can also enjoy the return of the classic 'Wilde Maus' rollercoaster, back after more than a decade.

The fair is renowned for its culinary offerings, with visitors enjoying local favorites such as Gromperekichelcher (potato fritters) and Mettwurst. The event calendar includes special discount days: a Family Day on Monday, August 26, with reduced prices on rides, and another Family Day on Monday, September 2, offering discounts on food. The final day, September 9, also features special offers and half-price attractions until 8 PM. A long-standing tradition is the Mayors' Day, where mayors from across Luxembourg serve customers in fairground restaurants, with proceeds going to charity. Additionally, social initiatives invite approximately 500 underprivileged individuals to experience the fair.

The Schueberfouer concludes on the evening of Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with a traditional fireworks display over the Grand Duchess Charlotte Bridge at 10 PM. The event remains accessible to a wide audience due to free admission and complimentary public transport services to the Glacis site.
