Armenian Festival and Fair

The Armenian Festival and Fair is a cultural gathering organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Lithuania, held at Bernardine Park (also known as Bernardine Garden) in Vilnius. The event commemorates the 35th anniversary of Lithuania’s recognition of Armenia’s independence and the establishment of diplomatic relations. Supported by the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the festival is a collaborative effort involving the embassy, the Honorary Consul, and regional Armenian community organizations.

Visitors can explore a wide variety of Armenian products, including traditional dishes, wines, mineral water, and preserves. The fair includes displays of handmade ceramics, traditional ornaments, and contemporary souvenirs. Beyond the market, the event features a cultural program with traditional music, dance, and national rituals such as the Blessing of the Grapes ceremony. Additional activities often include sports demonstrations, master classes, and chess and backgammon tournaments, providing an immersive experience of Armenian culture for both the local community and international visitors.
