Nepathya’s sixth concert in South Korea

The concert at KINTEX Hall in South Korea brought together hundreds of Nepalis for an evening of music, food, and a shared sense of home. Organizers and Korean security personnel faced challenges managing the crowds, as the audience was packed tightly near the stage and trains arriving at the venue were also filled. The large modern hall, capable of accommodating thousands, was filled to capacity, which was described as being on a scale reminiscent of Nepathya's concert at Wembley Arena.

Lead singer Amrit Gurung performed for two hours, interspersing songs with reflections on contemporary issues. He spoke about how Nepali society has evolved alongside its rivers but now fears them due to climate change, referencing recent floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers. Gurung urged the audience to contribute to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for immediate relief. The concert also featured new musical touches, such as an extended vocal refrain by Gurung before singing "Ae Saila."

Audience members expressed strong positive feedback, noting Nepathya's popularity and appreciating the performance's message of nationality. In addition to the main concert, another hall was crowded with stalls selling traditional Nepali food. Local organizer Suresh Limbu expressed pride in the event for conveying a message of unity among Nepalis and setting a high standard for quality and audience participation. The band returned to Nepal the day after the concert.
