The Wine Fair Kenya

The Wine Fair Kenya is a prominent biannual event in Nairobi, designed to highlight the country's growing interest in wine and experience-driven lifestyle events. The seventh edition, which took place on August 1, 2026, at The Jockey Club on Ngong Road, transformed the venue into a dynamic showcase of wine, gastronomy, and culture. The fair successfully gathered over 1,000 attendees and 37 exhibitors, who represented more than 100 international and local wine brands.

Beyond extensive wine tastings and opportunities to engage directly with producers and importers, the event emphasized education through various masterclasses led by professional sommeliers. This focus reflects Kenya's maturing wine culture, where consumers are increasingly seeking deeper knowledge about varietals, regions, vintages, and food pairings. This specific edition adopted a distinctive Derby-inspired theme, encouraging a formal dress code and featuring a fashion show by Canada-based label Mira by Trina, alongside traditional horse-drawn carriage rides.

The fair provided a rich array of lifestyle experiences, including gourmet food vendors, artisan coffee brands, wellness exhibitors, and live music from DJs.
