Festival Brazil and Latino 2026

Returning to Yoyogi Park’s Events Square, Festival Brazil and Latino 2026 offers an immersive experience into Latin American rhythms and traditions. The celebration is scheduled to run from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm daily, transforming the plaza into a vibrant hub of cultural exchange. The 2026 edition is particularly significant as it marks 25 years of the Chamber of Commerce of Brazil in Japan, the primary organizer behind the gathering.

The festival's musical lineup features a wide array of genres, including samba, bossa nova, forró, and pagode, performed by artists from Japan and overseas. Beyond the stage, visitors can witness energetic capoeira demonstrations and join workshops to learn the unique Afro-Brazilian martial art. A cultural market also offers traditional crafts, clothing, and products from across Brazil and other Latin American nations.

Food is a central attraction, with over 20 stands and food trucks serving authentic regional specialties. Highlights include churrasco barbecue, feijoada black bean stew, coxinha, and refreshing treats like acai and caipirinha. The festival serves as a key meeting point for the Brazilian community while inviting locals and tourists to enjoy a festive atmosphere in the heart of Shibuya-ku.
