The Lucea Seventh-day Adventist Back to School Treat and Health Fair took place on July 22, 2026, at Lucea Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lucea, Hanover. Running from 8:30am to 3:30pm, the event expanded the church’s annual back-to-school treat by adding a full health fair.

Approximately 215 children received educational supplies tailored to different school levels, while medical practitioners provided school examinations and required immunisations. More than 180 adults also attended, with free services including blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol checks, BMI assessments, and confidential HIV and syphilis testing.

The programme also included a voluntary blood donation drive and information or service booths. The event was organised by the church’s health and education departments with support from health authorities, community partners, volunteers and donors.
