Gallagher Dublin Horse Show

The Gallagher Dublin Horse Show is a prestigious five-day equestrian and cultural event, widely recognized as one of Ireland's most iconic gatherings. Hosted at the RDS in Dublin from August 5th to 9th, 2026, this edition marks a landmark year with a new title partnership with Gallagher and the opening of the new Laya Arena, alongside the unveiling of the modern Anglesea Stand. Competitive highlights for the 2026 show include the historic 100th running of the Nations’ Cup of Ireland, where teams vie for the esteemed Aga Khan Trophy. This year also introduces the inaugural €1 million Rolex Grand Prix of Ireland, which boasts the largest individual prize fund ever offered in Irish equestrian sport. Additionally, the thrilling Defender Puissance competition, known for its high-wall jumping that can reach 2.20m, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 8th. Defender continues its long-standing partnership with the event.

It celebrates the centenary of the Irish Army Equitation School and features popular attractions such as the 'Best Dressed' competition.
