Rosenallis Festival of the Mountain and Vintage Rally

The Rosenallis Festival of the Mountain and Vintage Rally will take place on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Glenbarrow, Rosenallis, County Laois, Ireland. Described as Laois’s oldest festival, the event starts at 12 noon and continues throughout the afternoon, providing a day of diverse entertainment for all ages. Admission is €10 per person, payable by cash only, with children under 12 granted free entry.

The festival's expanded program includes a new main stage hosting a variety of performances. Highlights feature a live robotics demonstration by Team RNS Robotics, winners of an award at the VEX IQ Robotics World Championships. Attendees can also enjoy Bollywood dance performances and workshops, classical Bharatanatyam, high-energy dance shows by Jump Street Dancers, belly dancing by The Red Embers & Guests, and musical acts from The Timahoe Male Choir, Abbeyfolk, The O'Neil Sisters, Ukrainian vocalist Tetiana Herasymova, hip-hop artist Bubble Lock, and interactive drumming with Jabba Jabba Jembe.

In addition to the stage acts, artist Lynn Kirkham will create a live public sculpture titled "Guardian of the Mountain" on-site. The festival grounds will feature vintage displays, a Tug of War, the Queen of the Mountain competition, a Dog Show, children's amusements, archery, obstacle course competitions, and face painting. Numerous stalls will offer hot food, sweet treats, and coffee.
