This exhibition, the result of years of archaeological, art-historical, and bioarchaeological work, delves into the history of four significant Hungarian monasteries: Tihany, Bakonybél, Pannonhalma, and Almád. It sheds light on one of the earliest chapters of Hungarian Christianity and statehood. A notable aspect includes research confirming the remains of King Andrew I and his family in the crypt of Tihany Abbey, a finding highlighted as the only remaining royal tomb of the Árpád dynasty.
