This selected exhibition of contemporary art, taking its title from the idea of 'wintering' as a period of stillness, endurance, and renewal, invites artists to interpret this concept. The exhibition includes a total prize fund of £1,100, which features awards such as the £500 Wintering prize, a £200 Isobel Kidd Gallery Award, three £100 Highly Commended prizes, and a £100 Visitors’ Choice Award.

The Open Call for submissions welcomed a diverse range of artistic mediums, including painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, photography, ceramics, textiles, fibre art, mixed media, collage, glass, metalwork, wood, jewellery, and artist books. Both established and emerging artists residing or working in West Wales were encouraged to participate. The exhibition is set to open with a Private View and prize announcement on Tuesday, December 1, from 5–8pm, and will continue throughout December.
