Malaysia Carnival 2026

The Malaysia Carnival 2026 was held at the Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre in Hertfordshire, serving as a hub for the Malaysian community and their friends in the United Kingdom. With over 3,000 attendees, the event was officiated by the High Commission of Malaysia in London. It emphasized the theme of 'Kesejahteraan Dinikmati,' promoting a sense of well-being through inclusion and shared cultural joy.

The heart of the festival was the food village, which hosted more than 30 vendors offering a range of iconic dishes. Visitors could enjoy nasi lemak, satay, and traditional kuih, as well as fresh durian brought from Malaysia. This culinary section aimed to provide an authentic taste of Malaysia's diverse food culture to both the diaspora and local British residents.

Cultural performances were a major highlight, featuring traditional percussion and folk arts like kompang and dikir barat. The program also included Malaysian songs and a Silat Seni Gayong demonstration, which showcased the country's martial arts traditions. These activities provided a comprehensive look at the nation's rich performing arts heritage for the visiting crowd.
