Clogher Valley Show

The Clogher Valley Show is a prominent annual agricultural fair in Northern Ireland, scheduled for Wednesday, July 29. Organized by the Clogher Valley Agricultural Society Limited, the event traditionally welcomes approximately 20,000 visitors to its 60-acre site, establishing itself as one of the premier agricultural events in the region.

At the heart of the show are the extensive livestock competitions, featuring around 500 cattle, 500 sheep, and 1,000 horses. Enthusiasts can enjoy a wide array of classes for horses, ponies, family ponies, and working hunter ponies, alongside competitive categories for dairy cattle, beef cattle, sheep, and goats. The popular dog section also attracts numerous entries and spectators.

Beyond the livestock rings, the show offers a diverse program of attractions. The Home Industries section showcases local baking, crafts, and creative talents, complemented by School Children’s Classes highlighting youth work. A Vintage Display presents classic machinery and vehicles, celebrating the area's rich farming heritage. Visitors can also explore hundreds of trade stands from local businesses and agricultural suppliers, enjoy a wide selection of local produce and artisan foods in the Food Hall, and partake in general entertainment, competitions, and educational exhibits designed for all ages.
