Cannes Yachting Festival

The 49th Cannes Yachting Festival is scheduled from September 8 to 13, 2026, in Cannes, France, serving as a premier international boating event and the opening of the international boating season. The festival is spread across two main venues: the Vieux Port, which focuses on motor yachts, superyachts, and marine equipment, and Port Canto, dedicated to new sailing yachts, brokerage yachts, dayboats, and a Power Cat Village. The event expects to host more than 680 exhibitors and showcase over 700 boats, with approximately 150 world premieres, and anticipate around 56,000 international visitors.

This edition introduces "slow boating" as its central theme, championing a more sustainable and conscious way to enjoy the sea. This approach emphasizes cruising in short legs, extended stays in coastal areas, and responsible navigation focused on the journey rather than speed. The festival will display boats designed for this lifestyle, such as hybrid-electric coastal cruisers with solar panels and fuel-efficient trawler catamarans.

Innovation remains a key highlight, with the "Innovation Route" showcasing new solutions for sustainability, including cleaner propulsion and smart navigation systems. Awards like the Innovation Route Awards and Best of Boats Awards will recognize these advancements. The festival is open daily from 10 am, with a special late-night viewing until 10 pm on Friday. Free sea shuttles operate every 15 minutes to facilitate travel between the Vieux Port and Port Canto for attendees.
