Cabo de Pop

Cabo de Pop is an annual summer festival held in the coastal town of Cabo de Palos within the Murcia region of Spain. Now in its ninth edition, the event is designed to celebrate the local marine reserve and cultural heritage through a blend of contemporary music and outdoor maritime activities. It is supported by the Cartagena City Hall and focuses on the natural beauty of the Costa Cálida.

The festival program transitions from daytime nautical adventures and water sports to live indie music performances and cultural activities at sunset. These events are distributed across three primary zones: the Lighthouse Esplanade (Explanada del Faro), the Marina, and the surrounding beaches. This structure provides an all-day experience for both residents and tourists.

Originally established as a small indie music and maritime gathering, the festival has evolved into one of the most anticipated summer events in the municipality. It emphasizes family-friendly entertainment and the exploration of the region's rich marine environment and local culinary offerings.
