Heroes’ Day serves as a meeting place for emergency services, security organizations, and the public, promoting awareness that knowledge is crucial in a crisis. The 2026 edition, the eleventh, operates under the motto 'Preparedness Is Not Panic' and emphasizes how individuals can respond effectively in dangerous situations, remain calm, and help themselves and others.

Over 40 organizations, including the Czech police and army, Prague Emergency Medical Services, and various fire brigades, will present their work across approximately 25,000 square meters. Visitors can view emergency vehicles and specialized equipment, participate in practical tasks, and witness demonstrations, such as a traditional fire brigade competition involving the rescue of people from crashed vehicles. Junior fire brigades will also showcase children’s fire-fighting sports.

In addition to emergency response, the event places a significant focus on online safety. Křižík Pavilion B will host an interactive educational program on topics like online fraud, protecting personal data, and financial security. A dedicated program for secondary school pupils, 'Hrdina Online', is scheduled for September 23, exploring digital world cases through talks, workshops, and online fraud simulations at the New Spiral venue. Admission to Heroes' Day on September 26 is free.
