Over five days, the 10th annual Elk Valley Pride Festival in Fernie, East Kootenay, featured a diverse program of 19 events, celebrating the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The festival commenced with an all-genders pride bike ride. Opening ceremonies included a flag raising at Fernie City Hall, followed by a public picnic in the park.

Weekend activities were highlighted by a Drag King 101 Workshop and a collaborative "Pride Brew" beer launch with Fernie Brewing Company, with proceeds supporting the Fernie Pride Society. Other events included a hike to Fairy Creek Falls. The vibrant "Pride in the Park!" event, held on Saturday in Historic Downtown, offered live music, craft and food vendors, and a beer garden. Performances by local bands Queer as Punk and Backstreet Butches were also part of the celebration.
