The CK Can Jam mural festival brings a creative flair to outdoor spaces throughout Chatham-Kent, promoting public art and community engagement. Now in its third year, the festival features a dozen artists who will work on 11 murals during the week-long event. Additionally, five artists will be stationed in Tecumseh Park for the entire week, painting eight by twelve-foot panels that are slated to be gifted to five outlying communities within Chatham-Kent.

Organized by Sarah Steele, Shannon Young, and Corey Ravenscroft, the initiative has seen growing community interest since it began in 2024. The festival creates tourism opportunities and includes participants from both local and international backgrounds. A free Enbridge community barbecue is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Tecumseh Park.

Attendees interested in exploring the public art installations will be able to access maps of the mural locations, available in both print and digital formats.
