Rosthern Harvest Festival

Established in 2021 by the Rosthern Agricultural Society, the festival is now managed by the Town of Rosthern Recreation Department. The event kicks off on Friday with heritage-focused activities, including quilt shows and tours at the Rosthern Museum & Mennonite Interpretive Centre, which is housed in a historic 1910 school building. Friday evening typically features outdoor family games and movies at Centennial Park.

Saturday's schedule begins with a pancake breakfast at the Jubilee Sports Centre, followed by a major community parade that travels through the town's central streets. The local business corridor is closed to vehicle traffic to accommodate a bustling street market and a car show featuring vintage and custom vehicles. At Centennial Park and the Jubilee Sports Centre, families can find a slo-pitch tournament, bouncy castles, and professional entertainment such as the Superdogs dog show.

Agricultural traditions are highlighted at the Seager Wheeler Farm with a full day of gymkhana events and a petting zoo. The festival also includes community bingo and various food vendors, concluding on Saturday night with a public fireworks display. Most activities are offered at little to no cost thanks to local corporate sponsorship.
