Ammy Virk 2026 Unity Tour Concert

Punjabi singer and actor Ammy Virk presented a concert at Rogers Forum in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, on the night of Saturday, September 5, 2026. The performance was a stop on his "2026 Unity Tour" and drew a large audience.

Following the concert, at approximately 11 pm, a vehicle associated with Virk's convoy was targeted in a drive-by shooting in the 2500-block of McCallum Road. Occupants of a dark-colored SUV reportedly fired multiple rounds at the vehicle. The Abbotsford Police Department confirmed the shooting, stating that no one was injured in the incident, which they are treating as a targeted attack.

Reports from Indian and Punjabi-Canadian media indicated that Ammy Virk was inside the targeted vehicle, with some organizers reportedly confirming his presence. However, police have not publicly confirmed the identities of the occupants, citing privacy considerations. Investigators are also examining a separate incident where an SUV was found fully engulfed in flames approximately five kilometers from the shooting site, to determine if the two events are connected. No arrests have been announced, and the Major Crime Unit continues to investigate the motive behind the incident.
