Summer Fling graffiti festival

The Summer Fling graffiti festival, a long-running event now in its 21st year, is scheduled for August 16 and 17, 2026, in Saskatoon, Canada. The festival aims to create the biggest art display it has seen, bringing together 24 graffiti artists to paint the back alleys in the city's downtown core, specifically between 21st and 22nd Street and Second and Third Avenue.

On Saturday, August 16, attendees can enjoy live music performances at Amigos. Notably, Los Angeles artists AWOL One and Gel Roc are expected to perform on Saturday night and will also contribute to the live painting on Sunday. The main live painting activity kicks off on Sunday, August 17, starting at 2 p.m. and continuing into the night, as artists transform the urban landscape.

The original plan for live music in the alley has been moved to The Midnight Oil’s shop, located just around the corner from the primary art display area. While artists are not compensated for their work, the festival ensures that the cost of their paint is covered. The event seeks to highlight the beauty of street art and provide a creative solution to local vandalism in the community.
