The third annual Salish Coast Music Festival is set to run from September 3 to September 7, 2026, in Parksville, British Columbia, coinciding with the Labour Day weekend. Hosted by the Salish Coast Live Arts Society, the festival is dedicated to presenting exceptional Vancouver Island and local musical talent, promoting community connection, and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Pacific Northwest.

The diverse program includes roots, folk, and world music, with performances exploring genres such as Andalusian folk dance, acoustic traditions rooted in swing and gypsy jazz, bluegrass, indie folk, and Brazilian dance and martial arts. Concerts and shows will be held across three community arts venues: the Parksville Museum, Errington War Memorial Hall, and Knox United Church. Highlights include the Andalusian folk dance and music collective Flamenco Tablao opening the festival, and acclaimed Western Canadian roots powerhouse The Bills closing it with a Labour Day matinee. Other notable acts include The Raven and the Duke, String Fever, The BC Song Project, Claire Coupland’s trio, the Juno-nominated Southern Residents, and a free performance by Axé Capoeira Victoria.

Tickets for individual shows are available for $35, and full festival passes can be purchased for $99. Due to the intimate nature and limited capacity of certain heritage venues, only 40 full festival passes are offered.
