Manitoba Stampede and Exhibition

Held at the VAS fairgrounds in Morris, the 61st Manitoba Stampede and Exhibition is a premier stop on the Canadian professional rodeo circuit. As the only event of its kind in the province, it attracts international competitors from as far as Brazil and Australia to compete in disciplines like bull riding, chuckwagon racing, and team penning. The competition is sanctioned by the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association and is an essential stop for riders on the Maple Leaf circuit.

Beyond the rodeo arena, the exhibition offers a diverse range of public attractions including midway rides, a petting zoo, and a First Nations pavilion. Traditional activities such as a pancake breakfast and displays of heavy horses and stock dogs are also featured. The 2026 schedule includes performances by the Trucko Trick Riders and live music from artist Nelson Little. While admission to the grounds is free, tickets are required for the professional rodeo performances, which historically draw large crowds from across Western Canada and the United States.
