Whistler Summer Concert Series

The Whistler Summer Concert Series returns to Whistler Olympic Plaza for the 2026 season, offering free live performances on select dates throughout July and August. The event aims to bring together local residents and international visitors through a shared love of music, set against the scenic backdrop of the British Columbia mountains. Each concert evening typically begins at 6:30 p.m. with an opening DJ set, followed by the headlining artist taking the stage at 7:30 p.m.

The 2026 lineup spans various musical genres including rock, folk, electronic, and country. Notable performers scheduled for the season include the Steven Page Trio accompanied by a string quartet, Canadian rock band The Trews, and The Washboard Union. Other highlights feature Ozomatli, SkiiTour, and a unique "Drag in the Mountains" performance in late August. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets to enjoy the shows from the venue's great lawn.

In addition to the musical performances, the series incorporates outdoor movie screenings at the same location. The "Movies in the Plaza" schedule includes family-friendly hits and classics such as Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. These film screenings typically start at 8:00 p.m. on select Wednesdays and Saturdays during the month of August.
