Organized by the Chung Wah Association, the festival features a diverse program of live entertainment throughout the day. Visitors can witness vibrant lion and dragon dances, a 12-drum percussion performance, and a unique dragon boat tug-of-war competition. The schedule also includes Tai Chi and Qigong demonstrations, traditional music and dance, and a singing competition including karaoke.

The event hosts approximately 30 food stalls serving authentic Chinese and multicultural cuisine, alongside nearly 60 cultural stalls showcasing various crafts and traditions. Families can participate in hands-on workshops, face-painting, and arts and crafts stations specifically designed for children to learn about Chinese culture in an engaging environment.

As the celebration moves into the evening, the program concludes with a specialized drone light show. Supported by the Office of Multicultural Interests, the festival aims to promote community connection and cultural understanding within Western Australia, highlighting the significant contributions of the Chinese community to the region's multicultural identity.
