Big Love Festival 2026

The Big Love Festival 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 11 to 13 at the Chenrezig Institute in Eudlo, located on the Sunshine Coast of Australia. This three-day annual festival is set within 160 acres of Sunshine Coast Hinterland rainforest and aims to introduce people of all ages and backgrounds to Tibetan Buddhist culture in an engaging way.

The festival's program features a rich array of activities including performances by Gyumed Tantric Monastery monks, known for their Lion's Roar chanting, and the intricate creation of a traditional Buddhist Sand Mandala. Attendees can enjoy contemporary live music from acclaimed artists such as Tenzin Choegyal, Andrea Kirwin, and Josh Lovegrove. There are also opportunities to participate in Tibetan music and dance workshops, creative workshops, yoga, meditation, breathwork, sound baths, and various talks and wellbeing sessions.

Big Love Festival is designed for families, offering free entry for those under 18 and a dedicated Dharma Kids Zone with creative and mindful activities for children aged five to thirteen. A distinctive feature is the daily animal blessing offered to pets by the Chenrezig Institute Sangha. The event also provides vegetarian dishes inspired by world cuisines, fresh chai, and a curated selection of ethical market stalls, with one meal included with every ticket.
