Cosplay Market

The Cosplay Market is a volunteer-run charity event making its debut in Logan at the Distillery Road Market in Eagleby on Sunday, August 16, 2026. This market aims to provide a dedicated space for the cosplay community, particularly those south of Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, after outgrowing its previous Brisbane locations and expanding to Perth and Sydney.

The event features more than 70 artist and second-hand stalls, offering cosplayers opportunities to buy, sell, and recycle costumes and materials. In addition to shopping, attendees can participate in workshops, panels, competitions, and various activities. A key focus of the market is to address overconsumption and waste within the cosplay hobby by promoting sustainability and making the hobby more financially accessible through the sale of pre-owned items.

The Cosplay Market also supports a charitable cause, raising money for 3rd Space, a Brisbane homelessness service. Twenty percent of ticket sales and proceeds from a charity raffle will benefit this organization. The event runs from 10 am to 4 pm. Tickets are priced at $20 online or $25 on the day, with free admission for children under 12.
