'TRICKED - An Evening of Wonder' is an ambitious new production by renowned illusionist and escape artist Cosentino. Held at the Civic Theatre Newcastle, the show represents a departure from his previous 'best of' performances, featuring entirely new material designed to blur the lines between reality and fantasy. The production incorporates large-scale stunts, including levitation and teleportation, alongside the performer's signature high-stakes escapes.

A central feature of the show is its interactive nature, with over 50 percent of the performance involving audience participation. To bridge the gap between the stage and the seating, multiple camera angles are used to project intricate sleight-of-hand maneuvers onto large screens, ensuring the detail of the close-up magic is visible to all attendees. The performance is structured around four key pillars: grand illusions, close-up magic, escapes, and humor.

Cosentino, a former runner-up on Australia's Got Talent and winner of the Merlin Award, has developed this show as a mind-bending experience that combines technical skill with theatrical storytelling. The event is scheduled as a single-night performance in Newcastle as part of his 2026 tour.
