Narrandera NAIDOC Week celebrations

The celebrations held at the Narrandera Showground marked a key gathering for the local community during NAIDOC Week. Orchestrated by the Narrandera Aboriginal Local Land Council, the event brought together Elders, families, and young people to recognize Indigenous culture and achievements in a festive environment.

Attendees participated in various interactive experiences, such as contributing to a handprint canvas and viewing artworks. Specific services were provided for the community, including complimentary shellac nail painting for Elders and temporary tattoos for children. Local entrepreneurs also utilized the event to showcase and sell their products at dedicated market stalls.
