After its initial launch in Limassol, the festival moves to Nicosia to offer ten days of free public interventions and street theater. The 2026 lineup features creators from nations including France, Japan, and Argentina. Notable acts include Soka Tira Osoa, a tightrope walk accompanied by live rock music, and contemporary circus work by OLO Company. A highlighted signature installation by Panos Malactos integrates water and projection technology into central city locations over five nights.

The event also incorporates a Youth Programme centered on Kanon Ito, a world-ranked youth trickline athlete from Japan, who will lead workshops and perform. By utilizing open-air venues instead of traditional theaters, ArtCargo encourages spontaneous interaction between performers and the local community. All scheduled events are open to the public without admission fees.
