Limassol Wine Festival

The Limassol Wine Festival, an annual nine-day event, is scheduled to run from September 26 to October 4, 2026. Primarily taking place in Limassol’s municipal garden, the festival officially commences under an iconic seven-metre statue of a winegrower, dressed in traditional Cypriot attire including a 'vrakas,' holding a wine jug and grapes. This event, celebrating its 65th edition, highlights Cyprus's wine industry, hospitality, and Limassol's traditions.

Attendees can sample wines from local wineries and traditional food. The extensive entertainment program features 14 concerts with various music genres like traditional songs, rembetiko, rock, and pop, alongside evenings dedicated to renowned Greek and Cypriot composers. The festival also includes Cypriot comedy, traditional dances, folklore group performances, and workshops for handicrafts, art, and pottery. Additionally, there are open-air restaurants and exhibitions, such as photography and caricature displays.

Beyond Limassol town, events extend to the wine-producing communities of Ayios Mamas and Arsos. Children have a dedicated activity area offering shadow theatre, juggling, stilt walkers, and creative workshops. For visitor convenience, free bus services will be available from Nicosia, Larnaca, Ayia Napa, and Paphos on September 26, 27, October 2, 3, and 4.
