Best of Boats Award ceremony

The Best of Boats Award ceremony is a prestigious international event dedicated to recognizing the finest new motorboats of the year. The 2026 winners will be revealed in Berlin on November 26 at OutVenture Berlin, following a rigorous selection process that included over 300 test runs conducted by a panel of 16 international journalists and editors from Europe and the United States.

The competition features 30 finalists across seven specialized categories, including Best for Beginners, Best for Family, Best for Fun, Best for Adventure, and Best Big Boats. Recent additions to the awards include dedicated categories for Best Electric boats and Best RIBs (rigid-hulled inflatable boats), reflecting current trends in the maritime industry. To be eligible for consideration, each vessel must have been tested by at least four members of the international jury.

The announcement of the finalists occurred during the Cannes Yachting Festival, setting the stage for the final reveal in Germany. The Berlin ceremony serves as a significant gathering for representatives of the global boating industry, manufacturers, and maritime media to honor innovation and excellence in boat design and performance.
