Transforming Prague's Kampa Island into a vibrant piece of France, the French Market is an annual six-day event dedicated to French gastronomy, culture, and entertainment. From July 14 to 19, 2026, visitors can explore a wide array of French culinary specialties, including freshly baked goods, regional cheeses, oysters, traditional cured meats, duck delicacies, and fine pastries. A curated selection of white, rosé, red, and sparkling wines from renowned French regions like Alsace, Burgundy, and Bordeaux will also be available.

Beyond food and wine, the market features an expanded cultural program. Highlights include performances by the 57-member L’Harmonie de Bourges brass band at the opening ceremony and concerts by French chansonnier Paul d’Amour. Attendees can also witness demonstrations from Ferran Sentís Barcia, a finalist in the World Oyster Opening Championship. The event is family-friendly, with activities for children, and offers free entry daily from 10 am to 9 pm.
