The milestone 20th edition of the Al Dhafra Festival showcases five distinct Camel Mazayna (beauty contest) stages across multiple locations. The season commences with the Sweihan Camel Mazayna in late October, followed by competitions in Razeen and Madinat Zayed. The festival culminates in a grand finale at the Al Dhafra Traditional Market, featuring prestigious Elite Rounds known as Al Romooz in early January 2027.

In addition to the primary camel beauty contests, which include nearly 400 rounds of competition, the festival hosts a wide array of traditional activities. Visitors can witness falconry, Purebred Arabian horse racing, Arabian Saluki racing, and Saktoun rifle shooting. The event also features niche heritage contests such as camel milking, sheep beauty shows, and traditional tea-making competitions.

This anniversary edition introduces 22 new competition rounds to accommodate a growing number of breeders and owners. With a total prize fund for camel contests exceeding AED 92 million, the festival serves as a critical platform for strengthening national identity and supporting the traditional livestock and heritage sectors in the United Arab Emirates.
