Abu Dhabi Festival 2026

The Abu Dhabi Festival 2026 is a significant cultural season spanning from October 10 to November 30, 2026, across various landmark venues in Abu Dhabi. Under the theme "Wisdom of Culture," the festival unites Emirati institutions and performers with international artists, offering a rich program of orchestral concerts, jazz, ballet, dance, opera, recitals, and large-scale productions. This edition also commemorates 50 years of cultural ties between the UAE and the US, and marks the 30th anniversary of the Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF).

The festival opens on October 10 at Etihad Arena with a symphonic evening by the UAE National Orchestra, conducted by François López-Ferrer and featuring pianist David Khrikuli. Other headline acts include Hans Zimmer's "The Next Level" tour at Etihad Arena on November 13, performances by the American Ballet Theatre on November 21 at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, and a Verdi Opera Gala on November 29. The program also features artists like Jon Batiste, Dhafer Youssef, Sondra Radvanovsky (with Vincenzo Scalera on October 17 at NYU Abu Dhabi), and Algarabia (on November 26).

A key highlight for families is the debut of the Children’s Biennale in November at Umm Al Emarat Park. Described as the Arab world's first dedicated outdoor children's art biennale, it invites children to collaboratively create artworks using sustainable materials, with the resulting installations displayed throughout the park. Beyond its main performances, the festival extends its reach through community and education initiatives, providing arts and music experiences for schools, young people, and families.
